Statement of Faith and Beliefs

  1. We believe that the King James Authorized Version of the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, word of God and that all other versions such as the NKJV, NIV, NASV, RSV and others are all counterfeits.

  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

  3. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ including His virgin birth, His Sinless Life, His Miracles, His Vicarious and Atoning Death, His Bodily Resurrection from the grave, as well as His Personal and Pre-millennial Return for His saints and with His saints at the Revelation.

  4. We believe in the total depravity of mankind and that he is in need of the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit through the New Birth.

  5. We believe that Salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary plus nothing.

  6. We believe in the Eternal Security of the Believer.

  7. We believe in a literal devil and literal Hell, where people who reject the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity.

  8. We believe in carrying out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ through personal soul winning and the prayer and financial support of missions.

  9. We believe in the local church which is a body of baptized believers who come together in obedience to Christ to carry our the dictates of the New Testament.

  10. We believe and practice both ecclesiastical and personal separation on the basis of the Word of God.

The Back to Bethel Broadcast
 Listen to the 25-minute program from the pulpit of Bethel Baptist Church.  The program typically includes singing from the Bethel Choirs, special solo of group singing and always preaching or teaching from the Word of God.  the "Back to Bethel" is currently aired on these radio stations and the corresponding webcast, if available.  Archives can be found on the Audio page of this website.

Bus and Van Ministry
As Jesus said in Luke 14:23, " Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."

History
Bethel from the Past
 Bethel Baptist Church is more than 100 years old.  Bethel was officially established in 1887, after already meeting as a church body, to offer a church between two other churches.  In 1887 churches where fewer and travel means we more difficult.

In 1951 and newer, more modern church building was built.
